Art, like many things, has a learning curve. I took some art classes in hghschool and then did a bit of art on my own in college. During this time I did not know much about copyright laws and created much of my art from magazine and calendar photos without permission from the photographers. Fortunately, I didn't sell any of these works and consider them learning pieces at this point.
